I have to admit I felt a little funny at first about asking for Donations when a friend of mine had suggested the idea to me.
You see, the reason I started this free website is because I remember what it was like for me when I first started learning about the Law of Attraction almost 20 years ago.
One of the main reasons for my studying it so intently at the time was to learn how to attract money because I had so darn little of it. But that was where the Catch 22 came in. In order to learn how to attract more money, I was going to need to spend more money I didn’t have to find out how.
The internet was in its infancy at the time and even if the information I was looking for was available, I couldn’t afford the service to access it. (These were the days when you had to pay per minute for internet access. It added up quickly!) There were also few books available in bookstores back then on the subject and even less in the library. I found myself once a week at a Strands used bookstore in Manhattan hoping to unearth a used gem like Think and Grow Rich or the original Seth books.
Now fast forward almost 20 years later. I have learned so much from hundreds of books, tapes and videos I could write 10 articles a day for the rest of my life and never run out of things to say. So many lessons I have learned along the way that I feel compelled to share.
When I first started studying the subject it was for selfish reasons only. I wanted to learn to apply it to my own life. But as time went on and my understanding of us “all being one consciousness” really took root, I found that by teaching this to others, I benefit as well as the person who is learning more.
The more of us that awaken to the truth of the Law of Attraction the more we all benefit. Less stress, less arguments, less greed, less need to be right. As more people learn to attract what they want in their lives by their own positive thoughts, the less need they will ever have to try and take something from another person. They know they can attract anything they want on their own.
There is nothing I would love more in the world than to continue to do this full time on a daily basis. The truth is it doesn’t feel like work to me at all. It is something I think about and get inspired by all day long.
Knowing Law of Attraction as I do, I have set my intention to be able to continue to do this every day full-time for the rest of my life . And Universe has shown up as usual with the different ways I can accomplish this. It has led me to putting some ads on my site and brought me great products I can recommend in good conscience because they are items that are completely in tune with what I really believe would help people.
It also brought me the friend who recommended this donation page.
